Curriculum Lab & Testing Testbed
Inside our Daegot-myeon facility, students learn using calibrated measurement tools and a live 12-rig test cluster wired to multi-channel digital power analyzers and variable airflow plenums.
Four Dedicated Engineering Stations
Every workshop participant rotates through practical measurement stations equipped with industrial diagnostic instrumentation.
3-Phase Electrical & Harmonics Bench
Wired directly to a dedicated 22.9kV-to-380V/220V industrial dry-type transformer. Students practice measuring phase imbalance, neutral line currents, and total harmonic distortion (THD) under varying hash board load states using high-accuracy digital power meters.
- Direct AC kilowatt-hour logging at 1-second sampling intervals
- Power factor correction capacitor bank analysis
- Breaker thermal stress and busbar torque verification
Thermal Imaging & Hot-Aisle Plenum
A modular enclosed hot-aisle containment rig equipped with variable-speed ECM exhaust blowers and differential pressure sensors. Attendees measure thermal dissipation curves and calibrate fan CFM requirements.
- FLIR infrared thermal mapping of ASIC heat sinks and power connectors
- Static pressure drop evaluation across MERV 8 and wire-mesh filters
- Airflow velocity profiling across multi-tier rack elevations
Firmware Autotuning & Voltage Profiling
Configuring open-architecture tuning firmware (Braiins OS, LuxOS) on live ASIC units to map silicon efficiency curves (J/TH) against step-wise voltage and clock frequency increments.
- Setting dynamic power caps matched to time-of-use peak tariff schedules
- Domain-by-domain voltage tuning to compensate for silicon degradation
- Automated API telemetry logging into custom spreadsheet workbooks
Hash Board Diagnostics & Fault Isolation
Equipped with digital multimeters, oscilloscope test fixtures, and board-level diagnostic signal trackers. Learn to identify failed LDO regulators, buck converters, and cold solder joints without expensive trial-and-error.
- Signal line tracing: CLK, TX, RX, RST, and BOOT domain continuity
- EEPROM chip readout and firmware error code interpretation
- Economic viability formulas for board repair versus scrap replacement
Lab Diagnostic Equipment Roster
We train on standard industrial measurement tools used by datacenter engineers and certified electrical contractors.
| Instrument / Tool | Primary Application in Workshop |
|---|---|
| Yokogawa WT310E Precision Power Analyzer | Measures true RMS power, total harmonic distortion (THD), and power factor under dynamic switched-mode power supplies. |
| FLIR E8-XT Infrared Thermal Camera | Detects thermal hotspots along busbars, breaker lugs, and hash board surface-mount buck converters. |
| Testo 417 Vane Anemometer & Capture Hood | Measures intake/exhaust airflow velocity (m/s and CFM) across hot aisle containment baffles. |
| Live 12-Rig Testbed with Dynamic Voltage Firmware | Dedicated test cluster allowing attendees to benchmark real-time J/TH variances across diverse clock frequency and voltage tables. |
2026 Scheduled Workshop Cohorts
To maintain high instructor interaction and hands-on station access, all cohorts are strictly capped at 10 to 15 participants.
